This is an Introduction to non perturbative physics.

We have always been expanding fields around vacuum (zero).
Every field is divided to Classical part(Solutions of EOM) and quantum part. The quantum part goes to path integral approach or canonical quantisation approach. We only use quantum part in finding canonical commutation relations. For perturbative theories the Classical part was always zero, so never got to worry about that.
